Kohei TakiguchiPresident and Chief Executive Officer
He established Medley to heighten awareness of issues with medical care from personal medical experiences. As the CEO of the company, he oversees the CEO's administrative office and internal audit department, which are responsible for M&A and new business development. Prior to establishing the company, at the age of 17, he established Gemeinschaft, Inc., a U.S. corporation, and became involved in domestic and overseas marketing and statistical research.
Goichiro ToyodaRepresentative Director (Medical Doctor)
He was appointed co-representative of Medley in February 2015. He took the lead en in launching the Medical Encyclopedia MEDLEY and engaged in educational activities aimed at disseminating correct telemedicine. Currently, he is in charge of the business collaboration promotion department. Prior to joining Medley, he worked as a physician at Seirei Hamamatsu General Hospital and NTT Medical Center Tokyo; conducted brain research at Children's Hospital of Michigan; and worked at McKinsey & Company. He graduated from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Medicine. He also authored the book, "Working to create our future."
Sosuke HirayamaDirector and CTO
He was appointed director of Medley in August 2016. He lead ens the medical platform business and organizational development and is currently in charge of the development headquarters. Prior to joining Medley, he worked for Hitachi Software Engineering, Co., Ltd. and Gree, Inc., as well as working as CTO with Livesense. He has been selected to lead en projects that are aimed at creating completely new types of software.
He was appointed director of Medley in April 2015. He is currently in charge of the business as the COO and is driving the growth of the JobMedley business. Prior to joining the company, he worked at Hatena Co., Ltd., worked as director of the media department, as well as working as president, of a subsidiary at Gree Inc.
Ryo KawaharaDirector and CFO
He was appointed director of Medley in July 2016. As the CFO, he is engaged in financial activities across the company, including financial affairs, analysis, and public relations for investors. Prior to joining Medley, he worked on domestic and overseas funding and M&A advisory businesses at JP Morgan Securities. He graduated from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Engineering.
In May 2016, he joined Medley and worked on the development of the telemedicine business as the chief legal officer. After that, he was appointed director in March 2018. He is in charge of the corporate headquarters. Prior to joining Medley, he worked on M&A, business alliances, and other cross-border company legislations at Paul Hastings LLP and White & Case LLP. He graduated from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law and holds attorney qualifications.
Noboru KotaniExternal Director
He was appointed external director of Medley in March 2018. Furuya was a senior vice president at the Boston Consulting Group and founded and serves as the representative director of Dream Incubator Inc. He currently serves as the external director for Combi Corporation, Jins Holdings, Inc., SanBio Co., Ltd., and Bilcom Inc. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and graduated from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
Hidetoshi TakanoExternal Director
He was appointed external director of Medley from the time of establishment in June 2009. Takano was involved in the start-up of the talent referral business at Intelligence, Inc. (now Persol Career, Co., Ltd.) and established and became a representative director of KeyPlayers, Inc. He graduated from the Tohoku University Faculty of Economics.
Shohei OmoteFull-time Auditor
Graduated from Waseda University School of Law in 2007 and Waseda University Graduate School of Law in 2010. Registered as an attorney in 2014. Worked mainly on tasks related to corporate compliance in Tokyo law offices. Was appointed Medley's corporate auditor in 2015.
Makoto HoshinoFull-time external Auditor
Prior to being appointed as a full-time external auditor at Medley, Inc., Mr. Hoshino spent almost 40 years at Ernst & Young Group as a registered certified public accountant. Previously , he served as the Representative Director and Managing Director of Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services Co., Ltd (currently EY Transaction Advisory Services Co., Ltd.). Mr. Hoshino holds a degree from Yokohama National University, College of Business Administration.
Keiichi KatoExternal Corporate Auditor
He joined Shin Daikyowa Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (currently Tosoh Corporation) in 1973. He was appointed full-time corporate auditor after serving as the General Manager and Secretary-General of the Administrative Division of Toyoko Riken. Subsequently, after being appointed the managing director of Amniotech and the managing director of Immunofrontia, Inc., he became a standing corporate auditor for BrainPad Inc. and was involved in the development, construction, and management of the audit system from prior to the public trading launch of Amniotech to the present. He was appointed external corporate auditor for Medley in 2016.
Masahide KamachiExternal Corporate Auditor
After graduating from Ritsumeikan University's Faculty of Management in 2004, he worked on a number of accounting and tax consulting services related to M&A, capital policy, and IPO support at Chuo Aoyama (now PwC Certified Public Tax Accountants). He is a representative of Kamachi Corporation; representative of the Masahide Kamachi Certified Public Accountant Office; external director for SOU Inc.; and auditor for NPO AfriMedico. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Tax Accountant. He was appointed external corporate auditor for Medley in 2017.
Toshihiro YokooExecutive Officer
Joined Open Loop, Inc. in 2016 and also served as the coordinator of sales and job-seekers for the temporary staffing business. In April 2009, was the youngest to be promoted to chief and was in charge of branch management. Joined Medley in 2011.s
Takeshi TeramachiExecutive Officer
He graduated from Keio University Faculty of Economics in 2006. After being appointed director of Campus City LLC (currently Cybridge Corporation), he joined Recruit. After working in sales, web marketing, and product planning, he turned the business into a profitable one as the manager of new businesses and received the annual MVP award. He joined Medley in 2015.
Yusuke ShimaExecutive Officer and Doctor
He graduated from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Medicine in 2009. After undergoing clinical training at the University of Tokyo Hospital, he specialized in gastrointestinal medicine at the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center. He later joined the Boston Consulting Group, where he developed product strategies for pharmaceutical companies and served as a consultant for improving management in healthcare, including that of hospitals. He joined Medley in 2016.
Kyosuke KatoExecutive Officer
He graduated from the Hitotsubashi University Faculty of Commerce in 2006. He joined Yusei Kansa Houjin and was also responsible for the recruitment of new graduates as a certified public accountant. After joining Cookpad Inc. as a business planning manager, he worked on IR, business promotion, and conference management and became a director of the member business department responsible for marketing, user support, service development, and new businesses. He was appointed executive officer in 2014 and was subsequently responsible for developing advertising, promoting alliances, hiring, and supporting group companies. He joined Medley in 2016.
Kiyoshi TanakaExecutive Officer
After working as an application engineer in an independent SIer in 2000, he worked on the planning and development of various core systems at a consulting firm. Subsequently, he joined CyberAgent. As a server-side engineer, he was responsible for launching and developing social games and video services. He joined Medley in 2016.
Daisuke TanakaExecutive Officer
Graduated from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Economics ・Faculty of Economics. Joined the Sparx Group and then Google in 2011. Worked on the sales and marketing of corporate cloud service "G suite" and gave more than 100 lectures annually. Joined Medley in 2016.
Takayuki KanematsuExecutive Officer
He joined IT Frontier Inc. (now Tata Consultancy Services Japan). After working as an engineer, he became in charge of planning promotion and operation management at the in-house IT planning department of a major general trading company. Subsequently, he worked on systems planning and cyber risk consulting at consulting firms such as Deloitte. He joined Medley in 2017.
